I am a qualified freelance web developer with many years’ experience.
This page explains my hourly rate and fixed costs.

My hourly Rate

I charge €45 per hour + IVA (currently 21%) for all services related to Web Development. I usually insist on working on the clock as there are just too many unknown variables when it comes to websites, but I can provide fixed quotations in some cases.

How I charge...

As a freelance worker I have to ensure that all of my time spent working on your project is covered. This includes all web development work and meetings.

I consider web development work to include:

  • Template Design
  • Website Setup and Maintenance
  • Adding functionality
  • Adding new content
  • Graphic Design / Image Editing
  • Updates / Changes to design
  • Coding
  • Video creation


As part of any web design project I provide 3 meetings free of charge. Anything over that will be billed at normal hourly rates.  I am happy to meet in person to discuss your project and get to know your business better, and usually all further meetings take place online via Video Conferencing Software such as Zoom or Whatsapp Video.

How Much Does a Website Cost?

Every website is different with unique requirements so I don’t currently offer a general price for new websites.

If you are providing all images, text and logo etc, I can create a barebones one page brochure website for €450.

The average price of a newly designed five-to-ten page business website that is SEO friendly and PageSpeed optimised will usually run between €1500 and €2500, depending on the features required.

Ecommerce sites usually also run from €1,500 – €10,000 depending on functional needed and features required.

We can always cut out SEO and Speed Optimisation to save on costs but I would not recommend that.
